Norwegian announces biggest ever USA sale from the UK and Ireland

Norwegian has announced the launch of its autumn sale offering holidaymakers from across the UK and Ireland the chance to book flights to the USA for lower fares.

Available for travel from October 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, travellers can now book transatlantic flights from London Gatwick starting from £140 one-way in economy and £415 one-way in Premium. Flights to the east coast of America from Scotland and Ireland are available from £139/€99 one-way at www.norwegian.com. The sale fares are available to book at www.norwegian.com/ie/fall-flight-deals. The autumn sale will end on Monday September 17, 2018.

Norwegian’s 11 nonstop routes to the US from London Gatwick are included in the sale with prices starting from New York JFK from £155 one-way in economy and £465 one-way in Premium; Boston from £140 one-way in economy and £415 one-way in Premium; Orlando from £165 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Fort Lauderdale (Miami) from £160 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Denver from £165 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Las Vegas from £180 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Los Angeles from £175 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Oakland (San Francisco) from £165 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Chicago from £140 one-way in economy and £430 one-way in Premium; Austin from £170 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium; Tampa from £160 one-way in economy and £515 one-way in Premium.

Passengers from Scotland will also be able to avail a flight to the U.S. east coast with Norwegian this winter. Daily flights from Edinburgh nonstop to New York Stewart International Airport are included in the autumn sale offering access to New York state. Fares are available from £139 one-way from Edinburgh. Passengers in Ireland looking to explore New York state and New England can also enjoy discounted fares on Norwegian’s transatlantic flights from Shannon and Dublin this winter, with fares from starting €99 one way.

Flybe offers up to 20% discount on limited time seat sale; refreshes onboard menu for summer 2018

Flybe, the UK-based European regional airline, is offering a limited time seat sale on a range of routes for summer 2018, with discounts of up to 20 percent on half a million seats.

The 2018 summer sale includes flights to Europen destinations such as Amsterdam, Biarritz, Milan, Paris and Rome. The seat sale features routes departing from 28 UK airports covering Newquay to Inverness, as well as the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. The routes on offer include Birmingham to Milan Malpensa, Exeter to Alicante, Edinburgh to Cardiff, Liverpool to Belfast City, Southampton to Verona and more.

Booking is available through to midnight on April 25 at www.flybe.com/sale, effective for travel from May 8 through to July 19, 2018. The Flybe sale also includes a selection of routes operated by two of Flybe’s franchise partners, Stobart Air and Blue Islands.

In addition, Flybe has also refreshed its on board Cafe Flybe menu for summer 2018 to include a variety of healthy snacks and new additions to its Connoisseurs’ Gin Bar. The airline will now offer a new Breakfast Box including a croissant filled with cocoa cream, a bag of mixed dried fruit, a Nutri-Grain breakfast bar and Tic Tacs.

Customers can also purchase snacks from Graze that include a Veggie Protein Power pack and a vegan friendly Lively Lemon Flapjack. Another healthy snack on offer for summer 2018 is Joe & Sephs Coconut and Chia Popcorn, a blend of caramel with desiccated coconut and chia seeds. British biscuit classics, McVitie’s Shortbread and Milk Chocolate Digestives also feature on the Cafe Flybe menu. The Connoisseurs’ Gin Bar features an assortment of regional gins including Brecon from Penderyn in Wales, Tarquin’s from Cornwall and Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger gin.

easyJet announces spring and early summer flights on sale across Europe

easyJet, the UK-based budget airline, has announced the sale of its flight services for spring and early summer 2018, offering flights across Europe for booking until June 24, 2018.

The European budget airline is offering a number of routes from across UK airports to destinations including Bristol to Faro from £28.49, Bristol to Cyprus Paphos from £58.49, Bristol to Barcelona from £24.99, London Gatwick to Barcelona from £24.99, Liverpool to Alicante from £17.99, Newcastle to Malaga from £17.99, Bristol to Naples from £30.49, and London Stansted to Naples from £26.99. Fares are per person, one way, based on two people travelling on the same booking. Tickets are available for booking at www.easyjet.com, the airline said.

Ryanair launches 2017 schedule in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Liverpool

Ryanair, the Irish low-fares airline, has launched its record Edinburgh summer schedule for 2017, with five new routes to Barcelona G, Ibiza, Milan, Porto and Vigo, as the airline expects to grow its Edinburgh traffic by eight percent in 2017 to over 2.5m p.a.

Ryanair’s Edinburgh 2017 schedule will see more frequencies to sun destinations for summer holidays, including five new routes to Barcelona Girona (twice weekly), Ibiza (twice weekly), Milan (five weekly), Porto (twice weekly) and Vigo (twice weekly); new summer routes to Warsaw (thrice weekly) and more flights to Palma (twice weekly), Rome (five weekly) and Tenerife (five weekly). The schedule will operate 38 routes in total, delivering 2.5m customers p.a.

In Edinburgh, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: ‘We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Edinburgh Summer 2017 schedule, which includes 5 new routes to Barcelona G, Ibiza, Milan, Porto and Vigo, and a new summer route to Warsaw which will deliver over 2.5m million customers p.a. and support 1,800* jobs at Edinburgh Airport.

Ryanair celebrated the launch of its Liverpool summer schedule and new routes by launching a 100,000 seat sale at prices starting from £19.99, across its entire European network, for travel in October and November, which must be booked by midnight Monday, September 12.

bmi regional in biggest ever January sale, up to 30 percent off on 250,000 seats

UK-based airline, bmi regional, has launched the biggest January sale in its history, offering discounts of up to 30 percent on 250,000 seats across its extensive network.

With a travel window from March 1 to October 26, 2014, the airline is offering service to eight countries across Europe, starting from only £39.99 (one way). The key routes on offer include:

The company is offering its guests complimentary food for all bookings made in July 2012, subject to the travel being completed by December 28, 2012.

Accommodation is available at its hostel properties in London (England), Dublin (Ireland), Berlin (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Venice (Italy). The company is also in the process of opening a new property in Barcelona, Spain.
