BRITAIN – Jayne Thomas

BIRMINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM, FEBRUARY 28, 2012:
Becky & James Thomas.
The Birmingham mum of a Costa Concordia survivor was last night reliving the ÒnightmareÒ after her daughter was stranded onboard its stricken sister ship. Frantic Jayne Thomas from Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands had heard nothing from dancer Becky, 23, (L) since a blaze broke out on the Costa Allegra, leaving it adrift in the Indian Ocean. Incredibly, her 19-year-old son James (R) was working on the doomed Concordia, which capsized off the Italian coast in January, killing 32 people. The teenager was labelled a hero after helping rescue terrified passengers. (Credit: Ben Miles / newsteam).
